When was the last time you checked your batteries?

The high temperatures of our tropical weather not only reduce battery life but the overall performance as well. Under normal circumstances, a UPS battery life ranges approximately from 3 to 5 years. But this doesn’t consider other factors that may or may not diminish your battery.

Every time the UPS activates it has to discharge the battery. Once the job is done, the UPS will charge the battery. Every one of these cycles affect the batteries. Any VRLA battery can only hold a limited amount of total discharge cycles throughout its useful life span.

Remember to check on your UPS to ensure optimal performance.
